The Hill Country now has its own faith-based, residential alcohol and drug recovery house for women. We owe a huge thank you to our generous donors, private foundation grants and the prayers of many people. Our God is faithful!
The Open Door Recovery House is located in Marble Falls. The house was the vision of a recovery addict. Hers is a story of perseverance and hope. The mother of six made it out of her destructive lifestyle with the help and support of her church, friends and a 12-Step program, despite having no money for rehab.
Many people stay in their destructive lifestyle because they cannot afford to get help. One of the goals of the Open Door Recovery House is to provide an affordable recovery program where women can live in a safe, drug free environment while learning life skills and working their way back into society.
The Board of Directors is comprised of diverse individuals who have a common bond: faith in God and a strong desire to help addicts and their families.
